Dave has his own purpose built workshop where all our amp related servicing & repair work is carried out to a very high standard, his expertise on tube amps such as Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Vox, Fender etc is second to none & having been in the industry for many years, he has established some valuable contacts, all of which enable us to give you the best service available.
As for myself (Steve Barratt) I have been repairing - setting up guitars for professional & amateur musicians for over 20 years, & being a professional musician has enabled me to work on high quality instruments on a regular basis.
Starting out as resident guitar repairer in a busy music shop in my early days, I gained extensive experience in all aspects of repairs, working on top brands such as PRS, Ibanez, Gibson, Fender, Taylor to name but a few!
For the past ten years I have been setting up & repairing guitars privately from my own workshop in Suffolk.
